Kashé
Growing up as a creative science nerd, I either played with those child-friendly chemistry sets or made arts and crafts projects. My interest in fine arts began when my parents enrolled me in various art, music, and dance activities...some of my fondest memories. I continued channeling my creativity through dance, painting, and sketching until graduating from Howard University (where I pursued my studies in social and physical science). Much like dance and science, my sculptures are inspired by movement and highlight the clay forms' true essence. Each piece is impromptu and designed as I mold the clay. My work has a complex simplicity that embodies a flowy, organic aesthetic.
