Born and raised in the small state of Delaware, it was an elementary art class that started what would become my lifelong passion for the arts. As a child, I was a dreamer often escaping with my imagination through painting, drawing, and creating art. I describe my work as whimsical and classic―a fantasy. when I am creating and building, I like to let color and texture lead the way. my shapes tend to naturally lean towards the duality of fluidity and structure, but what is more important in my process is that nothing I create ever feels too serious. My work aims to deliver a sense of joy and playfulness to whatever space my ceramics live in.
